At Retro Radiance you won’t experience impersonal speed waxing like corporate salons that rush you out the door. Our focus is to connect with clients while providing professional wax services. While offering our waxing services, we also want to bring a little comfort of home and nostalgia. Prior to or after a wax session, you can browse our vintage home goods. We believe the blend of our two favorite passions offers our clients a unique experience. One that is both personal and fun! We carry a variety of vintage items for the home as well as some clothing and accessories.
Meet Alexis, the founder of Retro Radiance!
As a licensed esthetician, wax specialist and makeup artist for over five years, her mission is to help people feel confident in their own skin. Alexis brings a warm comforting energy to her clients that is helpful in what can be painful situations. In a world where beauty standards are always changing and there is so much information to sort through, she offers her clients easy access to the best solutions for their skin.
This starts with a consultation where Alexis takes the time to learn about her clients’ needs and goals for their sessions. She caters the session to each person’s skin type and considers any sensitivities or concerns to give the best experience for all her clients. Sessions are setup to create a relaxed and welcoming environment through music, conversation, and an overall judgement free safe space. Her expertise and attention to detail is what keeps her guests coming back!

The world is consumed by low quality and disposable fast fashion, which destroy the planet. Providing vintage goods allows for the reuse of items or clothing that can continue to be passed on. There’s a different type of energy or feel to an item from another era that has already had so much life to it, whether it was handmade or manufactured. The stories and wonder that live within an item pique her curiosity, like who it belonged to or how it was styled years ago vs. today in the modern world.
